In addition to our EPPS 5 guiding principles, Greenscape will also recommend changes and actions that will advance the environmental management of a business. Some of the principles or practices we may recommend will include:

1. Natural, organic, sustainable, fair trade products will always be given preference over synthetic, exploitative production and manufacturing;

2. Full cost accounting of environmental impact, carbon footprint, waste management and mitigation/ compensation;

3. Taking full responsibility for the environmental consequences and benefits of decisions and actions;

4. Educating and training every employee of a business (CEO’s to custodians) on methods to reduce the environmental impacts of their business and daily activities;

5. Developing an electronic environmental information list and a corresponding list of milestones to be met; and

6. Creating a greenhouse gas emissions inventory and forecast, including a carbon footprint of the business’s supply and disposal chain from logging (paper supply) to disposal (packaging) for all goods and services made or acquired by the business.
